Yesterday, thanks to my friend Ian, I sat in on the recording of the podcast Weezy and The Swish with their guest Tom Wilson. He’s a very funny guy and they had a great show. They recorded through Talkshoe, so you can listen to the live recording there if you can’t wait for the higher quality version which will be posted to their feed in the next few days.
Update 5/15:The high quality version is now available.

EA posted their fourth quarter results for fiscal year 2007 this week. In addition to a loss of $25 million, they also announced that they are removing Spore from their fiscal year 2008 projections, which means the earliest the game could be released is next April.
I’ve really been looking forward to this game so I’m disappointed, but everything I’ve seen and read about it suggests it will be worth the wait.

This past week about 800 acres were burned in Griffith Park, very close to where I live. I was in no immediate danger, and fortunately no homes were lost, but it made for a very surreal night once I got home from work. I went out to take some pictures and was a bit surprised to see that hundreds of other people had the same idea. Both sides of Los Feliz Blvd. just east of Riverside Dr. and the bike trail that parallels the northbound side of the I-5 were packed with people when I got out there about 11:00pm. Click the image to see more of the photos that I took that night.
